party bingo

The party bingo is a traditional board game originating in southern Italy and especially typical of the region of Campania (Naples Smorfia). Substantially equivalent to the international game known as party bingo, the party bingo is technically a gamble, because the participants are required to pay a sum of money which is then redistributed as prize winners. However, the Italian party bingo is usually played in a family (it is a traditional Christmas game) and the sums that are committed and they usually are won purely symbolic values (when you can not even choose to use other awards). The random nature of the game coupled with some great value of prizes has made the term synonymous with party bingo event lucky or accidental acquisition of an asset or sum of money.
